Kayaking and rafting are two of the most popular tourist activities in the Lofoten Islands. They offer spectacular views of the area’s breathtaking natural scenery and a chance to view sea lions in their habitat. From October to January, safaris set out to look for sea eagles, seals and killer whales, while the cod fishing world championship attracts over 500 participants and observers every winter.
